Lovers under an umbrella - a unique project created by the masters of the OMI studio

The masters of the OMI studio have completed the creation and installation of the unique sculpture “Lovers under an umbrella”, which crowns the fountain arranged on the territory of the Grand Prix equestrian club (Kherson region).< /p>

As ​​the art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko noted, this was one of the pleasant orders in which the craftsmen were able to embody their professionalism and imagination in the image of a loving couple who found eternal happiness under great an umbrella that hides them not only from the flow of water, but also from all the troubles of the world.

“Inside the sculpture there are channels through which water flows from the pumping equipment of the fountain and finds its way out of the top of the umbrella, thus simulating rain. The customer told us his idea and gave us freedom of action. In fact, this is important and makes it possible to create absolutely unique projects into which the sculptor’s soul is invested. It turned out very romantic and tender,” said Bogdan Kazachenko.

To create the 2.5-meter sculpture, a composite was used - fiberglass with bronze coating. Given the relatively low cost of the sculpture, the customer received a fountain that looks quite expensive and impressive. In addition, bronze plating “ages” over time in a similar way to bronze, which gives the object even more charm without losing its performance.

The sculpture “Lovers under an umbrella” was made in the own workshops of the Association of Art Masters of Ukraine in Kyiv and delivered to the installation site by transport company. The masters of the OMI studio provided the service of installing the sculpture.
