A new art object has been created in the OMI Studio, a monument to the hryvnia for Kyiv

The masters of the OMI studio created a sculpture in the form of a Ukrainian hryvnia. The sculptural composition was named “Almighty Hryvnia” and was located near the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadim Hetman on Pobedy Avenue in Kyiv.

“Everything in this sculpture is symbolic. Firstly, it is installed near the University of Economics.

Secondly, the composition of the sculpture is created in such a way that the hryvnia seems to be sprouting in a wheat field, which will definitely grow and the Ukrainians will reap a rich harvest,” noted art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko in time for the presentation of a new art object on May 15.

The developers of the project and the creators of the art object itself were sculptors from the OMI studio. A giant coin with a denomination of one hryvnia reaches 2 meters in diameter.

The object is made of polyester resin and tinted to match the color of the metal from which real coins are stamped. All elements of the product are made with precise detail, making it difficult to tell the difference between a sculpture and a real coin.
