Mural studio "OMI" opened "Mural Fest" 2018 in Dnepr

The masters of the OMI studio became the authors of sketches for the second street art festival "Mural Fest" in Dnepr.

On November 19, the presentation of the first mural took place, the sketch for which was developed by OMI artists. The “Painting” can be seen at 58 Pobeda Embankment in Dnieper. In general, the OMI company created 40 sketches of future murals for this festival, one of them has already become a striking decoration of an ordinary city building.

The prototype of this mural was a well-known Internet meme: a man with an ATB package over his shoulder, looking at the Eiffel Tower. At one time, this photo caused a sensation on social networks, when Internet users published photos with the ATB package against the backdrop of famous landmarks.

"The sketches were developed by our artists. In a month, we created more than 40 sketches to order from the Department of Strategic Development and Investments of the city of Dnepr. - OMI art director Igor Ashcheulov spoke about the project - Our task was to make sure that This mural would be liked by both the city residents and those who invested in this festival."

During the festival, other murals based on sketches by the OMI company will also be realized.
Murals are modern street art that aims to add beauty to buildings. Similar images are present in many large cities. As a rule, they are placed on blank walls of houses, on large fences or in underground passages. In fact, any vertical surface can be suitable for creating a mural, regardless of where it is located, outside or inside the building.

Development of sketches and creation of custom-made muirs is one of the directions of the artists of the OMI studio.
