Masters of the OMI studio created a sculpture of the deceased mayor of Kremenchug Oleg Babaev

In the spring of 2015, the masters of the OMI studio fulfilled the order of the football club Vorskla, embodying in bronze the deceased President of FC Vorskla, mayor of Kremenchug Oleg Babaev. The main condition for the football players, for whom this man was an example of a competent leader, will and determination, was the high portrait similarity of the sculpture. “We managed to convey in the sculpture the confidence, dynamism and determination of Oleg Babaev.

According to people close to him, this is exactly how he was during his lifetime. The sculpture is located in the club’s museum, being one of the main exhibits in the corner of the famous President of FC Vorskla.I’m sure this man will be remembered for more than one generation,” noted OMI studio master Ivan Kizman.

Creating a bronze sculpture is a long, multi-operational process. To implement the order, the craftsmen took several dozen photographs - static and dynamic images. Plasticine was used to form the sculpture model. The next step was to remove the matrix in plaster, with the help of which a wax model was created. And only after that - bronze casting.

To complete the image, the masters of the OMI studio minted the cast figure and applied a patina. The sculpture is installed on a granite stand.
