OMI studio craftsmen made a huge cup for the Epicenter supermarket

In the second half of November 2015, the masters of the OMI studio fulfilled an order from the Epicenter-K company: a huge flowerpot in the shape of a cup was made for one of the chain’s supermarkets in Odessa. The cup is intended for use indoors in the “Garden and Vegetable Garden” department in conditions of high humidity. “The work was completed in a record time for this type of order - 7 days. A huge cup was cut out of polystyrene foam, puttyed and painted. Next, the three-dimensional figure was painted with acrylic paints.

In the end, all this was secured with a special varnish, which allows the object to be used in aggressive environments, noted Bogdan Kazachenko, art director of the OMI studio. According to the customer's idea, plants were planted in the cup and a mechanism for an operating steam fountain was installed.

As ​​a representative of the management of the Epicenter-K company noted, the first experience of cooperation with the OMI studio turned out to be easy and productive, which, of course, will contribute to repeated requests.
