The masters of the OMI studio see their mission not only in the quality of their work, but also in social activity. One of these undertakings was cooperation on an ongoing basis with the Good Samaritan charity foundation and participation in the All-Ukrainian project “Collect a gift for an orphan.”
Our craftsmen from all representative offices of the OMI studio in Ukraine responded with great pleasure to the idea of taking part in the National Christmas Celebrations in Odessa and purchasing stationery for children who need the attention of not only the state, but also the warmth of people’s hearts.< /p>
“In fact, it’s great to feel that you are needed and can be useful not only to your family and friends, but also to complete strangers who expect attention from you, a gift, perhaps even participation in their destiny,”< /em> - emphasized the art director of the Odessa branch of the OMI studio Olga Andriets.
All collected gifts will be presented to children during the National Christmas Celebrations on January 6 and 7, 2016 in the City Garden.
“We have a very close-knit team that is ready to pick up a good idea in its infancy, jointly develop and implement it. When Olga met the leadership of the Good Samaritan charity foundation, we immediately realized that these people appeared in the lives of the masters of the OMI studio for a reason and enthusiastically responded to the offer to help those who are in this today needs,” noted art directors and one of the founders of the OMI studio Igor Ashcheulov and Bogdan Kazachenko.
It should be noted that earlier in the City Garden the People's Tree was decorated with Handmade New Year's toys. At the end of the Christmas festivities there will be an auction for the sale of toys. All funds raised will go to gifts and needs for orphans, children from large families, disabled people and displaced persons.
