Masters of the OMI studio took part in the “Folk festivities”

The masters of the OMI studio took an active part in the preparation and holding of the charitable Christmas festival “Folk festivities”, organized in Odessa on January 6 and 7. These days, the reconstruction of Christmas Bethlehem and the Ukrainian village took place in the City Garden. Everyone was able to take part in thematic competitions and try Odessa cuisine. Also, the masters of the OMI studio presented their works at the Handmade Christmas fair.

As ​​noted by the art director of the OMI studio office in Odessa, Olga Andriets, the association carefully prepared for the holiday: together with the Good Samaritan charity foundation, the city stage of the all-Ukrainian project “Collect a gift for an orphan” was implemented " On the eve of the holiday, the “People's Christmas Tree” was decorated in the City Garden. Everyone took part in decorating the symbol of the New Year, and the toys were made by Odessa residents from environmentally friendly materials.

Children from socially disadvantaged sections of the population were invited to the “Folk festivities”. A table with Christmas treats was organized for them. In addition, everyone received a gift. Also, the masters of the OMI studio organized a master class for the children on making a Christmas card.

“Even though it was very cold, our hearts were warmed by the festive atmosphere and children's laughter. Each of the children received materials for creativity as a gift. This was a definite experience for the masters of unification. In the future, we plan to more actively implement our own initiatives, which, first of all, will be aimed at the development of art in Ukraine,” said Olga Andriets.
