The masters of the OMI studio became the materializers of the ideas of the famous artist and designer Lina Condes

“The name of Lina Condes is known all over the world, and her works are in the collections of famous collectors from Italy, Turkey, America, and England. In September, Lina organized a completely unique exhibition in the “contemporary art” style in Kyiv.

She is a generator of ideas and projects. And she needed craftsmen who could bring to life all the art objects she had imagined. And we acted as workers. I can say with confidence that there has never been a project of this level in Ukraine,” said art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko.

Masters of the Ukrainian arts association worked on the project for 2 months - in July and August. Together with the author, computer visualization was developed and created, 3D models were created, and art objects were made in accordance with the 3D models. In total, 6 three-dimensional objects were created, a number of reliefs made of plastic, metal and concrete.

According to Bogdan Kazachenko, materials that have not yet been used in Ukraine were used in the manufacture of objects - expensive plastics and car paints with mother-of-pearl and a “chameleon” effect.
“The results turned out to be really high-quality objects. I'm sure we have now become lifelong partners. The European curators of the project noted that they did not even expect that there were specialists in Ukraine who were able to carry out this work so efficiently,” emphasized Bogdan Kazachenko.
The exhibition was held in Kyiv from September 5 to 11, 2016.
