The masters of the OMI studio visited the National Museum of Art named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko (Kiev Museum of Western and Eastern Art)
“The museum's exhibits allow us to study not only art, weapons, architecture, furniture, and household items of our ancestors, but also the culture of other countries and other races. And for people of art, visiting a museum brings not just aesthetic pleasure, such a visit can become a source of new knowledge and inspiration. After all, the dream of any master of the OMI studio is to leave no less a mark on history,” Igor Ascheulov, art director of the OMI studio, shared his impressions of visiting the museum’s galleries.
The exhibition of the National Museum of Art named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko presents exhibits from various eras of development of Western Europe - medieval art, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism. The museum also has the largest department of Oriental arts in Ukraine. In total, today the museum has more than 25,000 exhibits.
“Visiting places like the Museum of Art. Khanenko, you understand that everything ingenious is simple, and history moves in a spiral. Sometimes you think about fulfilling some order, you look for solutions, and they come precisely in places where everything is imbued with the spirit of art and human history. Immense gratitude to Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko, their organizational skills, generosity and desire to selflessly share these treasures of history,” noted art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko.
