The craftsmen of the OMI studio, commissioned by the paramilitary mine rescue team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, produced a gift figurine of a mine rescuer.
“The figurine was made in blitz mode - 14 days. It completely reproduces an equipped mountain rescuer, from the mask to the stick and walkie-talkie. Despite the fact that the size of the figurine together with the pedestal is 20 centimeters, all the small details are carefully worked out,” said art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko.
When making the order, plastic casting technology was used: a prototype of the figurine was prepared from sculptural plasticine, followed by the process of approving it with the customer, transferring it into a mold and directly casting. The finished plastic figurine is tinted bronze. You can distinguish it from a bronze figurine only by its weight; a plastic one is much lighter.
As the mine rescuers noted, the best gift is an individual one, especially if it was prepared by qualified specialists from the OMI studio. The figurine is intended for their boss - a professional, wise and fair leader.
