Sculpture of St. Sebastian made of white marble: the history of a unique project

In the workshop of the OMI studio, work on one complex and at the same time exciting project was completed. For several months, our experienced craftsmen worked on the sculpture of St. Sebastian, which will decorate one of the temples. The sculpture is made of white marble, which gives it special luxury and value. But the most important thing is the uniqueness of the project, because the model of the sculpture was developed exclusively for the customer.

To create the final sketch, OMI sculptors immersed themselves in studying the best cultural examples of the Renaissance. It was during the Renaissance that the image of Saint Sebastian became popular in various forms of art. The image of the martyr was widely used in the paintings of famous Italian masters such as Antonello da Messina, Andrea Mantegna, Sandro Botticelli, Cima da Conegliano.

The masters of our studio are fluent in various artistic directions. This is a team of experienced artists and sculptors, so the products that are created in our workshop are real works of art. And perhaps, hundreds of years later, it is the marble sculpture of St. Sebastian created by the OMI studio that will be the subject of study by art historians. In the meantime, we continue to create and make this world even more beautiful.
