Gold has always served as an attribute of luxury and refined taste. The desire to decorate oneself to this day is inherent not only in women, but also in men. To emphasize one’s social status and wealth, gold is usually used in the interior. Any gilding technique requires materials, painstaking and expensive work, so not everyone can afford this material. However, gilded details always give the interior an elite atmosphere, sophistication and richness. The main skill is also the ability to find the line that does not turn the interior into an atmosphere of pomp and boasting.

As noted by the art director of the Odessa branch of the OMI studio, Olga Andriets, gilding has become very popular among “high society” in modern interior design. Most owners of mansions in Koncha-Zaspa necessarily have gilded stucco decoration, gilded furniture or individual decorative elements.

“We master this material so much that we can give the coating the desired effect for this particular interior. In the design we use not only gold leaf, but also its imitation - gold leaf, which in the skillful hands of our craftsmen is almost impossible to distinguish from gold leaf,” commented Olga Andriets.
