One of the cultural centers of Bulgaria approached the Association of Artists of Ukraine with a proposal to take part in the creation of a park of architectural models of Bulgarian attractions, which will become part of one of the national parks of Bulgaria. In total, it is planned to present 50 sights of Bulgaria, 15 of which will be created by the masters of the OMI studio within a year.
As noted by the art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko, architectural models on a scale of 1:35 will be created from plastic: “All details, right down to the balusters and capitals, will be sculpted by hand, molded and cast from plastic. Considering that the models will be placed in an open-air park, the parts will be puttied and coated with nitro paints and car varnishes, which will allow them to last for a long time in aggressive weather conditions. In addition, the models will be covered with a glass cover.”

For 5 days, specialists from the OMI association took measurements of monuments of architectural art in Sofia, including the Ivan Vazov National Theater, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the former Tsar's Palace, and now the National Art Gallery Bulgaria, the building of the Administration of the President and Parliament on the People's Assembly Square.

“A work trip to Sofia to take measurements of buildings turned into a trip with a lot of adventures and a wonderful vacation. In addition, we were convinced that the police in Bulgaria work excellently - law enforcement officers came up to us every now and then and were interested in the legality of our actions,” said art director of the OMI studio Igor Ascheulov.
To take measurements of other attractions in Bulgaria, we next plan to visit Varna and other cities.
