Studio "OMI" took part in the restoration of the Moskovskaya Hotel in Odessa

The masters of the OMI studio took part in the restoration of the Moskovskaya Hotel, located in the very center of Odessa - on Deribasovskaya Street. One of the leading specializations of the association of art masters is facade decoration, which includes facade decor, stucco molding, production of decorative elements, sculptural compositions on roofs and canopies, etc.

“There are few good restoration studios in Ukraine. The customer approached us with a request to restore the authentic appearance of the building based on the photographs he had. Other specialists were involved in the restoration of the facade, its puttying and painting, but we completed and installed all the stucco and sculptural decorative elements of the facade,” emphasized Bogdan Kazachenko, art director of the OMI studio.

All elements of the facade decoration are made of plaster impregnated with a water-repellent substance, which guarantees their service life of more than 50 years. As Bogdan Kazachenko said, the volume of work and complexity of the task were impressive, but today, when visiting Odessa and passing by the hotel, the masters of the OMI studio are proud of the work done.

“The hotel is not open yet; restoration of the interior is ongoing. But, walking in the City Garden, it is especially pleasant to observe the reaction of tourists. Judging by the number of people taking pictures in front of the building, the hotel is already popular,” the art director of the OMI studio shared his impressions of the work done.
