Studio "OMI" VS Lina Condes: new sculpture in the style of "contemporary art"

Continuing the collaboration with the famous artist and designer Lina Condes, the masters of the OMI studio became co-authors in the implementation of the idea of ​​​​creating a large-scale three-dimensional sculpture of a lying person. The collapsible sculpture was installed in the Sky Mall shopping and entertainment center at the end of October and will soon travel to Dubai.

In addition to aesthetic pleasure, sculpture also has a number of representative missions, one of which is communicating the artist’s position to the masses. There are screens mounted in the head area on which video footage is broadcast.

Taking into account the fact that the sculpture was originally planned for installation in a public place, the masters of the OMI studio calculated the anti-vandal thickness of the plastic, capable of withstanding significant loads, and realizing the author’s idea, they covered it with luminescent paint .

“The volumetric sculpture, made in the “contemporary art” style, fits perfectly into the space of a modern shopping and entertainment center. No one doubted that she should stand here. I think that after its dismantling, regular visitors to the center and traders will get the impression that something is missing here,” said Bogdan Kazachenko, art director of the OMI studio.
