The majestic monument to Miroslav Mysla, like the previous work of the masters, is cast in bronze and installed on a granite pedestal. As Bogdan Kazachenko noted, it took a long time to coordinate the sketch and make a model of the monument.

The masters of the OMI studio were tasked with not only achieving portrait likeness, but also conveying the character of the fighter in the image. To do this, experts studied many photographs of the Peacemaker and conducted a number of conversations with people who knew Miroslav.

“Of course, we achieved portrait similarity, created an identical shape, chevrons, and so on. But our task was to create the image of a Hero, for whom the integrity and independence of Ukraine stands above everything, even above his own life. The same as he was during life. And judging by the exclamations during the opening of the monument, we succeeded,” said the art director of the OMI studio.
