An unusual map of Lviv was developed by the masters of the OMI studio for the company Avalon Inc.

The masters of the OMI studio realized the idea of ​​the construction company "Avalon" Inc., the goal of which was to conceptually represent all the objects they built in Lviv.

“This project should fully reveal the reputation and scale of Avalon’s intentions, and in the future help the company work with its clients. Our task was not to talk about the construction projects themselves; it was necessary to present their number and location. The customer was offered an architectural and landscape model in the form of a map of Lviv, on which buildings were plotted. And in order not to distract attention, we removed everything unnecessary, “draping” the map with a carpet of greenery,” said art director of the OMI studio Bogdan Kazachenko.

The model was made on a scale of 1:1000 and is a platform measuring 1.2x1.2 m. In its production, priority was given to natural materials - wood, metal, glass. To emphasize attention, backlighting was used both on the map as a whole and on each model of a building plotted on the map of Lviv.

As ​​the art director of the OMI studio noted, the layout is conceptual, and the specialists approached its production quite creatively, using Google map. The association’s masters have been professionally engaged in the production of custom-made architectural models and the production of architectural and landscape models for more than 10 years, but this is the first time the project has been implemented in this form.
