Kamensky Central Park will be decorated with the Alley of Lovers

On Saturday, July 9, at 14.00, a unique Alley of Lovers will open on the territory of the central park of Kamensky (Dneprodzerzhinsk).

The project was implemented by the public organization "Association of Ukrainian Art Masters" at the expense of local residents under the patronage of the mayor Andrei Belousov. Igor Ashcheulov, director of OMI, spoke about this.

The festive opening of the Alley of Lovers with the participation of the mayor of the city was timed to coincide with Family Day.

The fountain in the park of culture and recreation was chosen as the central place of the alley. Couples in love are invited to the Alley to “write their feelings into granite.”

“Symbols of love” in the form of granite tiles with the names of lovers will be built into the coating along the contour of the fountain. The alley will be decorated with an arch and a book for lovers, a place for kissing and other symbolic structures associated with love.

Today, thematic forged benches made by Kamensk craftsmen are installed around the fountain.

The opening of the “Symbol of Love” will be accompanied by a solemn ceremony, a festive program and a photo session. Also, all participants in the event will be issued a certificate of a memorable date.
