In March 2016, the masters of the OMI studio made a memorial plaque to the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, General of the Internal Service Yuriy Kravchenko.
“Wanting to celebrate the achievements of the ex-Minister of Internal Affairs, colleagues and fellow countrymen of Yuri Kravchenko raised money and asked us to make a memorial plaque. No matter what they say about him, no matter what opinions exist, he was a truly good person and a competent leader. The masters of the OMI studio decided to make a memorial plaque for almost half the real cost,” emphasized Bogdan Kazachenko, art director of the OMI studio.
The memorial plaque to Yuri Kravchenko is located on the building of the Rest House for internal affairs workers, their families and veterans in the Kirovograd region. This holiday home was built and opened in 1999 only thanks to the efforts of General of the Internal Service of Ukraine Yuriy Kravchenko.
“The plaque is made of fiberglass with the addition of polyester resin. In some of its properties, this material can be compared to stone - the same strong and wear-resistant material, but much lighter. To imitate bronze, the board was tinted, patina and a special protective varnish were applied. I am sure that in the absence of vandalism and mechanical damage, the memorial plaque will last for many years,” noted Bogdan Kazachenko.
